Wendy Ricci is a Connecticut-based abstract and collage artist whose work blends layered textures, intuitive compositions, and an eye for unexpected harmony.

Her art reflects the inner landscape of the soul—a process of discovery, emotion, and finding beauty in the unexpected moments that emerge on the canvas. Guided by intuition, color and texture become expressions of feeling, where imperfections reveal hidden beauty. Each piece becomes a quiet conversation between chaos and calm, between what is seen and what is felt.

A new and emerging artist, she recently exhibited at the Old Lyme Midsummer Festival and the New London Art Stroll. Wendy was also featured in the Norwich Art Center Members Show, where she is an Associate Artist.

Wendy’s creativity was shaped early by her father, a digital collage artist and photographer, whose passion for image-making sparked her own artistic exploration. She also draws inspiration from Polish abstract artist Flavia Birsan, as well as Laura Haycraft, Sergio Aranda, and mixed media artist Sam Lewis—each influencing her to push the boundaries of texture, color, and form.

Currently, Wendy is navigating the path her art is taking, refining her creative practice, and pursuing opportunities to present her work to a wider community.
