Hi, I'm Josh Vieira, illustrator and artist. While I've been mostly in the artist lane, it is still my desire to communicate ideas, but I also took from my college sculpture professor with my personal work, and that is: if one in every 20 twenty people get it, you struck the right balance between presenting questions and answers to the viewer. If all my paintings asked no questions, then it would be boring. Don't ask me what my paintings mean, real art exists in the liminal space between the viewer and the work, between their perspective and my intention. I don't want to color their experience of my work with a more in depth explanation than my title provides.
