I am an abstract artist creating modern, vibrant, bold works of art. With a focus on form and color I derive my images from nature and natural forms. My current work is representational renditions of trees, celestial bodies and graphic patterns. Painting on clay board and canvas, my work is finished with attention to detail and ready to hang. I work in a variety of sizes that will add vibrancy and interest to any space.

My paintings are vibrant and powerful, while maintaining simplicity in composition and style.
The use of saturated color and intricate elements are exciting and optimistic, while striking a tone of serenity. A journey can be felt through the depth of the images, the suggestion of distance and an invitation to explore.
My work is inspired by the delicate balance between order and chaos. Working with a process-oriented spontaneity I allow intuition to act as a driving force. My paintings are abstract and representational. Balance is achieved through addition and elimination. Using tools such as palette knives, brushes, rags and print blocks, a concept is conceived using sweeping motion and tightly executed details. Color variation and subtle texture add to the works visual interest and vibrancy. There is an emphasis on the interplay of color, light and movement, which when balanced, produces a rhythmic visual narrative, bursting with energy.
