Authentic, raw, energetic and spiritual are words viewers have used to describe my work. I start my process working consciously with composition, color and visual elements in mind and then shift into working intuitively and am often surprised and excited with the outcome. The elements of the unexpected in my art are what viewers have been attracted to and an inspiration for me in creating art. A love of color, texture and the visual richness of life have all contributed to this pursuit . Acrylic pastes, gels, and paints, painted papers, photographs and photo transfers are just some of the materials I use to create abstract art in my home studio.
